Are you forced to play the sex scene in Assassins creed 2 or can you skip it?

I know there's a sex scene in the beginning of the game and I was wondering if you can skip it.

a "Sex scene" is a pretty rash way of describing it. All that happens is he climbs up a wall, into a ladies room, lays her on a bed and blows the candles out...

All that aside, yes, pressing the action button will skip the scene.
